On 3rd and 4th of March, 2014 Mr. Zhang Weizhong, Chairman of the Board of Suzhou Saifei Group
and Mr Ma Xiaomin, Deputy Director of the High Performance Ceramic Fiber State and Local Joint Engineering Center and Vice Chief-Engineer of Saifei Group, attended the fifth session of the Council of the fifth directors meeting and national chemical industry brand building conference in Shanghai. They visited the 2014 China International Apparel Fabrics and Accessories (Spring) Fair "China Fiber Pavilion", and attended multiple conferences: upgrading innovation and reforming the drivers of development (China Chemical Fiber Industry Association, 2014 Council Report), construction and integration of textile and chemical fiber industry brand development, fibers as source of innovation, designer perspective on promotion and application of fiber products, brand development and quality assurance from the view of designer and other reports on the current transformation of the industry. The meeting summed up the work of the Council in 2013, and arranged the main work of Chemical Fiber Association in 2014. In 2013,the Council focused on promoting the adjustment of industrial structure, promoting the transformation and upgrading of the industry, enhancing the independent innovation capacity construction, breaking through innovation-driven development, promoting fiber brand quality construction, increasing efforts on marketing promoting ecological civilization construction industry, breaking through development of circular economy, strengthening the integrated service platform to enhance service capacity and quality. In 2014, Chemical Fiber Association will continue to focus on these two words: "upgrading" and "innovation-driven", with technology, brand and circular economy as the driving forces, and do great researches in four main areas: industry operation and development plan, deepening industry brand construction, technology-driven industry "independent innovation" capacity building and further promotion of the development of circular economy. Recommendations were made on the establishment of a carbon fiber branch. The carbon fiber branch establishment will further promote the development of carbon fiber and its related industry in China, improve services in carbon fiber industry, so as to guide and promote China carbon fiber industry to reach healthy, orderable, and stable development. The meeting also held chemical industry brand Contribution Award presentation ceremony, Saifei Suzhou Chemical Fiber Industry Group Co., Ltd. won the National Award for outstanding contribution to the brand. |
